Company Description Bassem Gouda Creations is a solo, AI-powered architecture studio based in Cairo, delivering end-to-end Design-Build services from concept design and VR walkthroughs to on-site execution and fully furnished handover. The studio focuses on sustainable, human-centered spaces that use natural light and materials to reduce energy consumption and enhance occupant comfort. By leveraging an AI-driven production pipeline, projects are completed significantly faster than traditional studios while maintaining high design quality. Since 2019, the studio has delivered over 50 projects, ranging from initial concept to full turnkey handover, offering applicants exposure to the complete architectural and construction lifecycle. Role Description The Site Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position located in New Capital City, responsible for supervising daily construction activities and ensuring that design specifications are accurately executed. This role includes coordinating with contractors and suppliers, monitoring work progress, and reporting site status and issues to the studio lead. The Site Engineer will oversee quality control procedures, verify materials and workmanship, and ensure adherence to safety standards and local regulations. The position also involves reviewing structural and architectural drawings, resolving technical issues on site, and supporting efficient, sustainable construction practices aligned with the studio’s design philosophy. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong on-site supervision skills and experience managing day-to-day construction activities. Candidates should possess clear communication abilities for coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and design stakeholders. Candidates should possess quality control skills, including inspection of materials, workmanship, and compliance with safety standards. Candidates should possess structural engineering knowledge and the ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings. Candidates should possess a background as civil engineers or related construction engineering disciplines. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related field. Experience with residential or commercial building projects, preferably in Design-Build or turnkey environments. Familiarity with construction codes and standards applicable in Egypt and proficiency in basic site documentation and reporting tools. Ability to work independently, make informed technical decisions, and maintain a high level of professionalism on site.
