Team members join a mission to reshape the automotive landscape in Egypt and beyond. Role Description The Plastics Process Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in 10th of Ramadan city. The role involves designing, optimizing, and monitoring plastics manufacturing processes for automotive components to ensure consistent quality, efficiency, and safety. Daily tasks include developing and updating process documentation, supervising trial runs, analyzing production data, and implementing process control methods to reduce defects and waste. The engineer collaborates closely with production, quality, maintenance, and R&D teams to support new product introductions and continuous improvement initiatives. The role also requires troubleshooting process issues on the shop floor, supporting root cause analyses, and recommending technical solutions aligned with company standards and customer requirements. Qualifications Strong foundation in Process Engineering and Chemical Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to plastics manufacturing. Competence in Process Design and Process Control to develop, validate, and refine production processes for plastic components. Well-developed Analytical Skills for interpreting process data, identifying trends, and driving data-based improvements. Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Experience in plastics processing (e.g., injection molding, extrusion, thermoforming) within an industrial or automotive environment. Familiarity with quality and safety standards relevant to automotive manufacturing (such as ISO/TS or IATF frameworks). Ability to work on-site in a production environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proficiency in using engineering software and basic statistical tools for process analysis and documentation.
