Role Description The Maintenance Engineer (Printers) is a full-time, on-site role based in Heliopolis. This role is responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing various types of printers and related equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. Daily tasks include performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical faults, and replacing or repairing components as needed. The engineer will document service activities, maintain accurate maintenance records, and support the technical team with installation and configuration of new printing devices. The role also involves coordinating with customers and internal departments to resolve technical issues, adhere to safety standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of maintenance processes.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for printers and related devices. Candidates should possess solid Maintenance Engineering skills, including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving. Candidates should possess experience in Preventive Maintenance, including scheduled inspections, servicing, and performance checks. Candidates should possess Electrical Maintenance skills relevant to printers and peripheral equipment. Relevant technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field. Experience in printer maintenance for brands such as HP, Canon, Epson, or similar is highly beneficial. Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and apply safety procedures in maintenance work. Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work effectively on-site with customers and internal teams.
