Role Description The Professional Sales Agent at AES Interior Design & Architecture is a full-time, on-site role based in Fifth, WV. The individual in this position will actively identify and engage prospective clients, present interior design and architecture services, and manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through contract signing. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting in-person and phone consultations, preparing proposals and quotations, following up on leads, and maintaining accurate records in the sales tracking system. The Professional Sales Agent will collaborate closely with designers and project managers to ensure client needs are translated into appropriate service offerings and will represent the company at local events, showroom visits, and client meetings. This role also involves meeting or exceeding sales targets and contributing feedback to improve sales processes and client experience. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in professional sales, business development, or account management, preferably within interior design, architecture, or related industries. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, listen actively, and present solutions clearly to diverse clients. Solid organizational and time management abilities, including managing multiple leads, prioritizing follow-ups, and maintaining accurate documentation. Comfort working on-site with clients and colleagues, including conducting in-person meetings, showroom tours, and site visits in Fifth, WV. Proficiency with basic office and CRM software, and the ability to learn new sales tools and systems as needed. Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and adapting strategies based on performance data. Understanding of or interest in interior design and architectural concepts to effectively communicate the value of AES services. High level of professionalism, ethical judgment, and respect for clients and team members, with a commitment to inclusive and non-discriminatory practices. High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is an advantage. Ability to work standard business hours on-site in Fifth, WV, with flexibility for occasional client appointments outside typical hours.
