Job description

• Protects company tools, equipment, machines, or other assets in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensures uniform, nametags, and personal appearance are clean, hygienic, professional, and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Performs other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
• Supports all co-workers and treats them with dignity and respect.
• Inspects linen and terry cloth for damage and removes them from circulation as necessary.
• Separates soiled articles (e.g., linen, terry cloth, and clothing) based on color, fabric, and cleaning technique requirements prior to washing or dry cleaning.
• Maintains accurate records of items washed, number of loads, and poundage of dry cleaning and laundry.
• Transports cart of washed articles to dryers and places them in dryers according to load size.
• Recognizes that all activities and purchased equipment and belongings may impact the environment; participates in all activities organized to protect biological diversity and shares individual responsibilities to increase environmental knowledge and carry out necessary training. Aims to minimize consumption of currently used materials and equipment (paper, printed materials, etc.).
• Implements responsibilities to eliminate and collect waste properly, reduce environmental pollution, and minimize harmful effects on the environment.
• Ensures safe handling, carrying, storing, and use of chemicals in accordance with laws, controlling and reducing chemical contamination.
• Carries out all responsibilities related to the quality management systems implemented at the facilities.
• Performs all other duties assigned by managers and hotel management not specified in the job description.

Qualifications

• Education: At least a primary school or vocational diploma.
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in the related field.
• Foreign language: Not expected.
• Courses and training: Prior attendance in courses and seminars in the related field.
• Computer literacy: Not expected.
• Skills: Adaptability/flexibility, stress tolerance.
