Role purpose

To be responsible for the following:

• Development, building (ANT, Maven), testing & deployment of existing and new integration functionalities.
• Developing integration APIs to be consumed by integration parties using provisioning systems like Tertio and Tibco.
• Developing micro-services using Spring framework and deploying them over on-premises cloud (OpenShift).
• Doing business automation by developing enterprise Java applications and APIs for automating business processes.
• Building KPIs by using DevOps tools like Elastic, Jenkins, etc.

Role profile

Design:
Define the responsibilities, operations and relationships of a specific software module, and determine how it will be adjusted to fulfill business needs.

Delivery:
Participate in the software development life cycle.
Ensure successful user acceptance test.
Quality assurance of locally developed systems.
Provide 2nd line support for systems in production.

Teamwork:
Dedication, sense of ownership in fulfilling company strategies. Continuous improvement in relevant area of profession.

Standards & procedures:
Ensure full compliance of all locally developed applications with the standard software development methodology used in Vodafone Egypt.

Competencies and qualifications

• Implement business requirements to technical systems functionalities.
• Work and interact with a diversified team to meet business challenges.
• Effective communication with different stakeholders.
• Self-motivated.
• Results driven and solutions focused.
• Mentor other team members.

Must have technical/professional qualifications:

• 2+ years of IT experience.
• Experience in software development and implementation life cycle.
• Computer science or engineering professional degree is a must.
