Role Description The Electrical Maintenance Section Head is a full-time, on-site role based in Qesm 1st 6 October. This role oversees the electrical maintenance team, plans and executes preventive and corrective maintenance activities, and ensures that all electrical systems and equipment operate safely and efficiently. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing electrical faults, coordinating troubleshooting efforts, monitoring maintenance schedules, and optimizing equipment reliability in production facilities. The role also involves enforcing safety standards, coordinating with other engineering and production teams, managing maintenance documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in electrical infrastructure. Qualifications Strong expertise in electrical maintenance and electricity, with the ability to manage and supervise maintenance operations in an industrial environment. Proficiency in troubleshooting and electrical troubleshooting, including diagnosing complex electrical issues and implementing effective corrective actions. Demonstrated experience in preventive maintenance planning and execution for electrical equipment and systems. Solid knowledge of industrial electrical systems, control panels, motors, drives, and related instrumentation. Experience leading maintenance teams, including task prioritization, performance monitoring, and skills development. Familiarity with relevant safety standards, regulations, and best practices for electrical work in manufacturing plants. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under time constraints and handle multiple tasks. Effective communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with production, engineering, and other cross-functional teams. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Previous experience in chemical, petrochemical, or heavy industrial environments is an advantage.
