Role Description The Technical Office Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in El Tagamoa El Khames. This role is responsible for overseeing all technical office activities, including reviewing and coordinating engineering drawings, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and maintaining accurate technical documentation. The Technical Office Manager collaborates closely with project managers, site engineers, and external consultants to resolve technical issues and support smooth project execution. Daily tasks include preparing and reviewing reports, managing technical submittals and RFIs, tracking project progress, and supporting cost and time optimization. The role also involves implementing quality standards, monitoring adherence to codes and regulations, and providing guidance to technical staff.
Qualifications
Strong technical background in engineering or construction management, with the ability to review and interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts. Experience in coordinating between technical office, site teams, and external stakeholders to resolve design and execution issues. Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., Auto CAD, MS Office, project management applications) and strong documentation skills. Solid organizational and planning abilities, including time management, task prioritization, and attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and provide clear guidance. Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to identifying risks and proposing solutions. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field. Previous experience in a technical office or similar role within real estate development or construction is highly preferred. Understanding of local building codes, regulations, and quality standards, with a commitment to safety and compliance.
