About The Role

At Octane Solutions, our Finance team plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our financial operations. As an Accounting Supervisor, you will lead day-to-day accounting activities, oversee financial reporting, and support compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for maintaining financial excellence. You will supervise accounting processes, mentor team members, and collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure accurate financial records and timely reporting.

What You'll Be Doing

Supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial transactions. Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal company policies. Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance to support business decisions. Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities during audits and compliance reviews. Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team to enhance performance and professional growth. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and financial systems. Collaborate with HR, Procurement, Operations, and other departments on finance-related activities.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.5+ years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior accounting role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations. Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent are considered an advantage. Proactive, reliable, and solution-oriented mindset.
