Role Description The Legal Advisor will provide comprehensive legal support for WAJJAD’s operations, products, and stakeholder relationships in Cairo, Egypt. This full-time, on-site role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of legal documents and contracts related to technology platforms, governance frameworks, and commercial arrangements. The Legal Advisor will identify and assess legal risks, advise on compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and support the development of internal policies and procedures. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing clear legal guidance to cross-functional teams, handling labor and employment-related matters, and collaborating with external counsel where needed. The role also requires monitoring regulatory developments, contributing to the design of legally robust platform structures, and preparing concise reports and briefings for management.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Law, with demonstrated ability to interpret and apply relevant legal frameworks. Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation and contract drafting, including technology, commercial, and governance-related agreements. Experience handling Legal Issues and providing practical Legal Advice to internal stakeholders and leadership. Knowledge of Labor and Employment Law, with experience managing employment-related policies, disputes, and compliance. Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; admission to practice law in Egypt or another recognized jurisdiction is a strong advantage. Experience in corporate, commercial, or technology law, ideally within Saa S, platform, or B2B environments. Ability to analyze complex information, assess risk, and present recommendations in clear, business-oriented language. High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive matters. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary, fast-paced environment. Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is highly beneficial.
