The Opportunity:We are seeking a passionate, energetic, and highly skilled English Teacher who is an expert in Jolly Phonics to join our team. The ideal candidate is not just a teacher but a language mentor who can instill a love for reading and writing in young learners. You will be responsible for delivering our specialized curriculum, building strong foundational skills with Jolly Phonics, and advancing students into expert-level writing and grammar instruction. Key Responsibilities:Deliver engaging and effective English lessons using the complete Jolly Phonics methodology (42 sounds, letter formation, blending, segmenting, tricky words). Systematically advance students from phonics to structured writing and grammar lessons, focusing on sentence structure, paragraphs, essays, and creative writing. Expertly identify and correct errors in pronunciation, spelling, grammar, and writing mechanics with detailed, constructive feedback. Utilize our proprietary teaching materials effectively to achieve lesson objectives for both literacy and writing. Provide clear, detailed instructions and continuous feedback to foster student growth and confidence. Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment for kids and teens. Who You Are (Requirements):Native or Fluent English Speaker with an exceptional, nuanced command of the language. Proven experience teaching English to children and teenagers (ages 3-16). Certification and demonstrable expertise in Jolly Phonics are mandatory. Expertise in Teaching Writing and Grammar: You must have a strong ability to teach sentence structure, punctuation, paragraph development, and different writing genres to young learners. A keen eye for detail and a systematic approach to correcting errors and explaining grammatical rules in an age-appropriate way. Ability to follow and adapt detailed lesson plans while adding your own creative flair. Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
