Role Description The Mechanical Engineer will work on-site in Alexandria, Egypt in a full-time capacity, contributing to the design, analysis, and improvement of mechanical and mechatronic systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing mechanical components and assemblies, creating detailed CAD models and drawings, and performing calculations to ensure safety, reliability, and performance. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, supporting R&D activities, participating in prototype development and testing, and preparing technical documentation and reports. The Mechanical Engineer will also assist in planning and tracking project activities, coordinating with suppliers and manufacturing teams, and contributing to continuous improvement of design and production processes. Qualifications Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, including mechanics, materials, and manufacturing processes. Proficiency in Machine Design, with experience designing mechanical components and assemblies for real-world applications. Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling, drafting, and design documentation. Ability to support Research and Development (R&D) activities, including prototyping, testing, and performance analysis. Project Management skills to plan tasks, manage timelines, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related discipline. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and commitment to quality. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment. Familiarity with manufacturing processes, industry standards, and safety regulations is beneficial. Experience in mechatronics, control systems, or automation is a plus.
