Role Description The Senior Electrical Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Alexandria. The person in this role will lead the electrical design of residential and mixed-use projects, including preparing detailed drawings, load calculations, and technical specifications. Responsibilities include coordinating electrical layouts with architectural and structural teams, ensuring compliance with local codes, international standards, and safety regulations. The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will review and approve design documents, support value engineering efforts, and participate in design reviews and site visits. Your Role Design electrical power, lighting, and low-current systems for large-scale projects. Prepare and review electrical design drawings, layouts, calculations, and technical documentation. Coordinate with Architectural, Structural, and MEP teams to ensure seamless project integration. Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications. Support value engineering initiatives and optimize design solutions.
What We're Looking For✔ Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.✔ 4+ years of experience in Electrical Design.✔ Experience in residential compounds, mixed-use developments, or high-rise projects.✔ Strong knowledge of electrical networks and building services design.✔ Proficiency in Auto CAD (Revit is a plus).✔ Excellent coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
