Role Description The Senior Team Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Alexandria, Egypt. This position oversees a multidisciplinary engineering team, providing day-to-day guidance, assigning tasks, and ensuring project milestones and quality standards are met. Responsibilities include coordinating with clients and internal stakeholders, reviewing designs and technical documentation, and supporting integrated engineering practices across projects. The Senior Team Lead will mentor team members, promote knowledge sharing, and help implement best practices in project management and engineering design. The role also involves identifying process improvements, contributing to strategic planning, and supporting Floatmap’s growth and innovation goals.
Qualifications Strong leadership and team management skills, including mentoring, performance guidance, and conflict resolution. Experience in project management within engineering or construction, including planning, scheduling, and resource coordination. Solid background in engineering disciplines relevant to construction and Integrated Engineering, with the ability to review and validate technical designs. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating across diverse teams and client groups. Proficiency with engineering and design tools, and familiarity with modern technology and innovative methodologies used in engineering projects. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or a closely related field; advanced degrees or professional certifications are a plus. Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and adapt to evolving business needs. Prior experience in a senior or lead role within an engineering agency or similar setting is highly desirable. Solid background in BIM, & Technical design processes PMP &/or MBA is a plus
