Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fashion Designer role based in Alexandria, Egypt. The Fashion Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing seasonal collections, from initial sketches to final samples, in alignment with Nosseir’s brand identity and market trends. Day-to-day tasks include researching trends, selecting fabrics and materials, developing detailed technical drawings, and collaborating with pattern makers and tailors to ensure accurate construction and fit. The role also involves overseeing fittings, refining designs based on feedback, and ensuring that embroidery, textiles, and other design elements are executed to high quality standards. The Fashion Designer will work closely with production and merchandising teams to ensure collections are commercially viable and delivered on time.
Qualifications

Strong skills in Fashion Design and Fashion, including concept development, sketching, and collection planning Experience with Embroidery and decorative detailing, with an ability to integrate embellishments into cohesive designs Knowledge of Textiles, fabrics, and materials, with the ability to select appropriate options for different designs and seasons Proficiency in Fitting, garment construction, and working with pattern makers and tailors to refine fit and silhouette Relevant education in Fashion Design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience Ability to work on-site in Alexandria, Egypt and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Attention to detail, strong time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Familiarity with fashion design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CAD tools) is an advantage Portfolio demonstrating previous fashion design work, including completed garments and collections
