About the Role We're seeking an experienced PHP Back-End Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you'll design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and services that power our software solutions.
Key Responsibilities Develop robust back-end components using PHP and related technologies Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code Design and implement database structures Create and maintain API endpoints for front-end consumption Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance Implement security and data protection measures Participate in code reviews and technical discussions Requirements Strong proficiency in PHP (6+ years experience) Experience with PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, Code Igniter, etc.) Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts Proficiency with MySQL/Maria DB or other relational databases Experience with RESTful APIs and web services Knowledge of version control systems (Git) Familiarity with server management and deployment processes Understanding of security principles and best practices Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications Experience with AWS, Docker, or other cloud platforms Knowledge of front-end technologies (Java Script, HTML, CSS) Understanding of CI/CD pipelines Experience with message brokers (Rabbit MQ, Kafka) Familiarity with Redis, Memcached, or other caching systems Agile/Scrum development experience
