Haridy Construction Company is seeking a highly vigilant, experienced HSE / Safety Officer to manage safety operations for our excavation and contracting works at the Sukari Gold Mine in Marsa Alam. This role demands a strict, zero-tolerance approach to hazards. You will oversee deep excavations, heavy machinery movement, and slope stability, ensuring our operations fully align with both Haridy’s safety standards and Sukari Gold Mine’s international safety protocols. Key Responsibilities Site Oversight: Enforce strict HSE protocols for all excavation, earthmoving, and heavy vehicle operations inside the mine area. Risk Mitigation: Conduct comprehensive daily Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and risk assessments specific to mining environments. Safety Briefings: Lead mandatory daily Toolbox Talks focusing on open-pit/underground hazards, trenching, and heavy equipment interaction. Compliance & Audits: Ensure full compliance with Egyptian environmental laws and international mining safety standards. Incident Management: Investigate near-misses immediately, implement corrective actions, and maintain precise HSE data logs. Emergency Readiness: Coordinate emergency response, medical evacuation drills, and first-aid protocols adapted for remote mine sites. Job Requirements Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of HSE experience, with at least 2 years strictly within mining, open-pit operations, or major oil & gas infrastructure projects. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or an equivalent technical discipline. Certifications: Mandatary OSHA (30-hour Construction/General Industry) certification. Technical Knowledge: Deep expertise in excavation safety, benching/shoring, heavy equipment safety, and dust/noise control. Roster Flexibility: Ready to work on a rotational shift basis at Marsa Alam (full accommodation, meals, and transit provided).
