This is a part-time remote position for a Business Development Manager focused on the US and Canada. Responsibilities include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to develop tailored IT solutions. The candidate will also research market trends, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and contribute to revenue growth by meeting and exceeding sales targets. Regular client communication and engagement will be a critical aspect of the role. As an authorized Manage Engine Partner, we do more than resell software. We combine license sales with deep technical consulting, implementation, optimization, and ongoing support across ITSM, ITOM, UEM, and cybersecurity.
Role Description In this role, you will help us:• Generate and qualify new leads across the US and Canada• Identify, engage, and nurture prospects through outbound outreach• Build and manage a pipeline of channel partners and resellers• Support partner and reseller relationship development• Position Manage Engine solutions and our services to end customers and channel partners• Run discovery conversations and identify customer pain points• Work closely with internal business and technical teams for solution alignment and handoff• Maintain CRM hygiene and keep pipeline activity organized and up to date• Meet and exceed pipeline, meetings, and opportunity generation targets
Qualifications Proven experience in Business Development, Sales, and Account Management within the IT or related industry. Familiarity with IT solutions such as network monitoring, cybersecurity, or Manage Engine products is highly desirable. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to build relationships with clients and close deals. Analytical and research skills to assess market trends and identify growth opportunities. Self-motivated with the ability to work collaboratively and independently in a remote environment. Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. Experience working with clients in the US and Canada is a significant advantage.
