ROLE SUMMARY
The Deputy Store Manager is responsible for assisting the Store Manager in the day-to-day activities of the store. The role holder will also be responsible for acting on behalf of the Store Manager in decision-making responsibilities concerning everyday issues.
ROLE PROFILE
Ensure the Majid Al Futtaim Retail concepts implementation in store.
Assist in creating the store strategy and ensure implementation in line with MAF Retail business strategy
Guarantee the correct application of merchandise plan/layouts
Support comparative studies between departments that can contribute to the efficiency of the commercial conceptsStay informed about competitor activities and take appropriate measures if necessary
Guarantee the application of the commercial policy agreed for the store according to the strategy
Analyse quantitatively and qualitatively the products assortment in the store
Propose corrective measures to increase profitability and sales turnover
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in Management or equal
5+ years in a managerial function, 2+ years in the retail
Knowledge of principles and methods for managing individuals and groups
Practical problem-solving skills
Interpersonal skills and Good time management skills
Highly organized with strong multitasking skills
