  1. Education: 
    1. Required: 
      1. Bachelor of Pharmacy from an accredited institution. 
      2. Preferred: 
        1. Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS) or other relevant clinical certifications. 
    2. Experience:   
      1. Required: 
        1. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a hospital pharmacy setting. 
    3. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: 
      1. Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, and pharmacokinetics. 
      2. Familiarity with hospital pharmacy operations, including medication dispensing, inventory management, and regulatory compliance. 
      3. Understanding of standards set by accreditation bodies such as the Joint Commission or Ministry of Health. 
      4. Knowledge of drug interactions, adverse drug reactions, and methods for monitoring therapeutic drug levels. 
      5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare providers and counsel patients. 
      6. Proficiency in pharmacy information systems, electronic medical records (EMR), and automated dispensing technologies. 
      7. Attention to detail in the preparation, dispensing, and documentation of medications. 
      8. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced hospital environment. 
      9. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and handle emergency situations related to medication management. 
      10. Commitment to ethical standards, confidentiality, and professionalism in all aspects of pharmacy practice.
