Role Description The Furniture Technical Office Engineer is a full-time, on-site role located in Cairo, Egypt. This position entails preparing shop drawings, developing precise BOQs (Bills of Quantities). The engineer will also be involved in quantity surveying, ensuring project requirements are met while adhering to quality standards and deadlines.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Applied Arts specialized in Furniture design and production or a related field At least 1 year of relevant experience in furniture design and technical office work for wooden and metal works Excellent proficiency in CAD software and other design programs Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and joineries Ability to create technical drawings and specifications Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Passion for the furniture industry and a willingness to learn and develop new skills
