The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure environment, while also contributing to automation, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and product lifecycle management.</span></p><span data-teams="true"><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></span></p><ul><li><span data-teams="true">Manage and support VMware vSphere, vCenter, ESXi hosts, and related virtualization infrastructure.</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for complex cloud infrastructure issues.</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Design, implement, and optimize VMware-based cloud solutions aligned with product requirements.</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment, configuration, and management tasks.</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Collaborate with development teams to integrate infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines.</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Support containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and VMware Tanzu.</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Participate in product development lifecycle, including environment setup, testing, and deployment.</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Monitor system performance, capacity planning, and perform regular health checks.</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Automate routine tasks using scripting and automation tools to improve efficiency.</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Ensure security best practices and compliance within the cloud infrastructure.</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Mentor and provide guidance to L1 and L2 support teams.</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Stay updated with the latest VMware, DevOps, and cloud technologies and industry best practices.</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Contribute to the development of internal tools and frameworks to enhance product delivery.</span></li><li><span data-teams="true"><strong>Optional/Good to Have:</strong> Knowledge of backup and storage solutions, including data protection strategies and storage management.</span></li></ul></p>About you<p><span data-teams="true"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></span></p><ul><li><span data-teams="true">Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management, with a focus on VMware technologies.</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, NSX, vSAN, and Tanzu.</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Terraform, and Docker.</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash.</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure-as-code practices.</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Experience with cloud platforms such as VMware Cloud on AWS or other hybrid cloud solutions.</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Knowledge of networking, storage, and security in virtualized and cloud environments.</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Good understanding of backup and storage solutions, data protection, and disaster recovery strategies (preferred).</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">VMware certifications (VCP, VCAP, or higher) are preferred.</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Experience in product development environments is a plus.</span></li></ul></p>
