Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist lead English teachers in daily classroom activities, lesson delivery, and student assessment for B2/C1 level learners.
- Co-plan lessons, activities, and materials aligned with curriculum standards and learning objectives.
- Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students to reinforce language concepts, pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary usage.
- Support administrative tasks related to class management, attendance, and records maintenance.
- Assist in the preparation of teaching aids, digital resources, and classroom setups for effective learning experiences.
- Monitor student progress and communicate insights to lead teachers and program coordinators.
- Participate in ongoing professional development sessions to improve instructional techniques and assessment methods.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and respectful collaboration.
- Support English language learning initiatives such as speaking clubs, exam preparation, and remedial sessions as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a accredited university; specialization in English, Education, Linguistics, or related field preferred.
- University-level English proficiency at B2/C1 level or equivalent, with strong command of grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
- Available for full-time work and internship-level commitment with a view toward long-term employment.
- Prior teaching or tutoring experience is advantageous but not required; proactive learning mindset and willingness to develop teaching competencies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, students, and administrative staff.
- Organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient computer skills and familiarity with educational technology and learning management systems.
