Job Summary
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and expanding the agency’s market presence. The role focuses on acquiring new clients, developing partnerships, and increasing revenue through strategic planning and effective sales initiatives within the events Planning industry.

 

Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & Sales
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within corporate, government, and private sectors.
- Generate leads, conduct client meetings, and convert prospects into long-term clients.
- Prepare and present tailored proposals, quotations, and pitches for events and projects.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms with clients and partners.
- Achieve revenue targets and contribute to overall business growth strategy.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients.
- Act as the main point of contact for key accounts.
- Ensure client satisfaction by coordinating closely with the events planning and operations teams.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities for additional services.
Market Research & Strategy
- Analyze market trends, competitors, and client needs within the events industry.
- Develop and execute business development plans aligned with company objectives.
- Identify potential partnerships, sponsors, and strategic alliances.
Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare regular sales and pipeline reports for management.
- Track leads, opportunities, and performance using CRM tools.
- Collaborate with marketing and PR teams to support lead generation and brand positioning.
