  • Reviews and approves quality‑related procedures prepared on the project to ensure compliance with the project quality program/plan
  • Trains personnel assigned to the project on Quality related aspects as required
  • Recommends and evaluates the effectiveness of corrective actions and process improvement activities to project personnel to correct observed quality deficiencies
  • May maintain client liaison and communication for project quality related activities
  • May represent the project during quality assurance audits conducted by the client, management, or regulatory agencies
  • Identifies quality problems, initiates documented action and verifies implementation of solutions
  • Initiates and/or coordinates stop-work action, when warranted
  • Technical background in Mechanical Engineering
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and functions which impact the quality program/plan
  • Proficiency in providing direction and on the job training to assigned personnel
