Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt, for a Senior Accountant. The position involves managing day-to-day financial transactions, preparing accurate financial statements, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Senior Accountant will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and auditing processes, while collaborating closely with internal teams to optimize financial performance. The role also includes supervising junior accounting staff and assisting with strategic financial planning to support the company’s growth objectives.
Qualifications Proficiency in financial accounting, reporting, and managing accounts payable and receivable Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning and analysis Familiarity with auditing practices and compliance with local regulations Strong analytical skills and experience in using accounting software and tools Excellent communication and leadership skills to supervise junior staff and collaborate effectively Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting Proven experience in a senior accounting role; hospitality industry experience is a plus Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred
