Purpose of the Role The Legal Intern will support the legal team in providing practical and timely legal assistance across corporate, commercial, compliance, and governance matters. This role offers valuable exposure to real-world legal operations within a large regional organization and is ideal for candidates seeking to build a strong foundation in corporate and commercial law.
Key Responsibilities Assist in drafting, reviewing, and organizing commercial, corporate, and employment-related agreements. Support the legal team with research on regulatory, compliance, and data privacy matters. Help coordinate documentation for cross-border transactions and internal projects. Maintain and organize contract templates, legal records, and intellectual property documentation. Assist with corporate governance tasks, including meeting materials and filings. Liaise with internal stakeholders and support coordination with external legal counsel when required. Perform legal research and prepare summaries, trackers, and reports as needed.
What We’re Looking For Education:Currently pursuing or recently completed an LLB, LLM, JD, or equivalent legal degree. Coursework or interest in corporate law, commercial law, or data privacy is a plus. Experience:Prior internship or academic exposure to corporate or commercial law is an advantage but not mandatory. Skills:Strong legal research and drafting skills. Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Languages:Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken). Mindset:Eager to learn, proactive, and adaptable. Strong sense of confidentiality and professionalism. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
