Job Summary
The Sales Engineer is responsible for supporting sales activities through technical understanding, client coordination, proposal preparation, and project follow-up. The role bridges technical teams and clients to ensure accurate solutions and successful project acquisition. Key Responsibilities Identify new sales opportunities and follow up on leads. Conduct client meetings and site visits to understand project requirements. Coordinate with technical office and estimation teams to prepare technical and commercial offers. Assist in tender submissions, clarifications, and negotiations. Present technical solutions and value engineering proposals to clients. Maintain relationships with existing clients and consultants. Track inquiries, quotations, and project status. Support contract handover to project execution teams. Prepare regular sales activity and performance reports.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.3–6 years of experience in MEP sales or contracting. Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems. Ability to read drawings, specifications, and BOQs. Good communication and negotiation skills. Proficient in MS Office; CRM knowledge is a plus. Willingness to travel and visit sites. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Number of qualified leads and proposals submitted. Conversion rate from inquiries to awarded projects. Client satisfaction and repeat business. Accuracy and timeliness of proposals.
