Job Summary:This role handles daily purchasing activities to secure goods and services in a timely and cost-effective manner. The role carries out sourcing tasks; reviews supplier offers and maintains accurate procurement data to keep internal operations running smoothly. By following company policies and regulatory requirements, the role helps reduce risks and uphold transparent, compliant procurement practices. This role also contributes to achieving reliable supplier performance and supporting the organization’s overall operational efficiency.
Roles and Responsibilities:Execute end-to-end procurement processes by handling RFQs, bids, purchase orders, and vendor selection using standardized procedures to ensure timely sourcing and optimal purchasing decisions. Conduct market research by gathering supplier information and benchmarking pricing through industry data and comparisons to support cost-effective and competitive procurement. Evaluate supplier proposals by analyzing technical and financial submissions and negotiating pricing and terms to secure the best value and performance for the company. Coordinate with internal departments by clarifying specifications, confirming requirements, and aligning timelines to ensure accurate and efficient procurement execution. Maintain procurement records and vendor databases by updating documentation, contracts, and supplier details to ensure data accuracy and support informed decision-making. Follow up on order status by tracking deliveries, confirming compliance with quality standards, and resolving issues to ensure suppliers meet contractual obligations. Pre-requisites (Education, Professional Experience and Competencies)1 – 3 years of procurement experience Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
