Modern English School Cairo is recruiting a highly competent teacher of Design and Technology to join our thriving and enthusiastic Design and Technology team. The successful applicant will have relevant experience, and the ability to teach Design to secondary students . We seek a teacher who can inspire, support and foster a genuine love for the subject in our students and capable of delivering engaging and motivating lessons.
The following will be an advantage to applicants:
Knowledge of technology tools for design. 2D Design, Sketchup and Procreate
Knowledge of design equipment: 3 D printer, laser cutter and vinyl cutter
Knowledge of workshop tools: band saw, circular saw, pillar drill, fret saw and various hand tools
Ability to draw and have an understanding of design briefs and implement from design to production
