Job Profile:The German International University in Cairo is seeking an Industrial Designer with expertise in teaching in the field of industrial design in the Bachelor's program with a focus on design basics in two- and three-dimensional topics.
Co-teaching in the main projects in the main study program with a focus on documentation and virtual presentations, prototyping, CAD, design sketching and AI for Design. Design Discourse as a course to qualify for internships and professional fields in industrial design. Job Description:Developing and teaching in the Course Design Basics in the Bachelor’s program with the focus on prototyping and model making digitally and physically Developing and teaching in course electives for the Master’s program for interdisciplinary research topics with system thinking and supporting the master thesis courses is a plus Support in the development of administrative tasks is an obligation Independent assumption of tasks such as admission tests, academies and semester exhibitions are required.
Qualifications:Education and language:University degree in product or industrial design or a related field (M. A. / M. Sc). Fluent in English. Technical Skills:Advanced skills in prototyping and modelmaking. Advanced skills in design sketching and visualization in 2D and 3D. Advanced skills in digital integrated prototyping Knowledge of common computer programs for graphic, product design or industrial design. Basics for UX-design is a plus
