About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Accountant to join our cost team. In this role, you will play a critical part in analyzing manufacturing costs, supporting budgeting and forecasting, improving cost processes, and providing insights that drive strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Perform detailed cost analyses, including standard cost updates, variance analysis, and margin reporting.

Maintain and improve cost accounting systems, processes, and internal controls.

Lead month-end and year-end close activities for cost accounting.

Analyze manufacturing performance metrics, including labor efficiency, overhead absorption, and material usage.

Partner with operations, supply chain, and production teams to improve cost transparency and efficiency.

Support budgeting and forecasting activities; provide cost insights for financial planning.

Identify opportunities to automate cost accounting processes and enhance reporting accuracy.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required.

5+ years of experience in cost accounting, ideally in a manufacturing or production environment.

Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles.

Proficiency with ERP systems & Advanced Excel skills

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
