Lead Generation Specialist| Americas

Role Purpose
Drive new business development for Lead Generation services for Investment Attraction across the Americas (North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean), focusing on public sector clients such as investment promotion agencies, economic development organizations, special economic zones, and Free Zones through a consultative, solution-oriented sales approach.​

Key Responsibilities

 

New Business Development

  • Identify, research, and qualify public sector and ecosystem prospects across the Americas for Lead Generation services.​
  • Conduct consultative outreach (email, LinkedIn, calls, virtual meetings) to understand client needs, FDI priorities, and sector focus across subregions.​
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline, ensuring data is accurate and up to date in the approved reporting system.​
  • Plan and lead discovery and needs analysis meetings with senior stakeholders across multiple time zones.​

Sales & Proposals

  • Prepare and customize high-quality proposals (technical and commercial) aligned to client requirements and public-sector procurement norms.​
  • Achieve a minimum of 4 qualified Lead Generation / Consulting proposals submitted per month.​
  • Support negotiations on scope, deliverables, timelines, and commercial terms with the Head of Sales.​
  • Drive opportunities to closure and ensure smooth handover to delivery teams.​

 

Account & Stakeholder Management

  • Build trusted relationships with decision-makers in investment promotion agencies, EDOs, and related public bodies across the Americas.​
  • Maintain regular communication to identify renewal, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities within Lead Generation.​
  • Coordinate with global sales, delivery, finance, and contracting teams to ensure excellent client experience.​

Reporting & Activity Management

  • Submit regular (weekly/monthly) activity and sales reports to the Head of Sales, including pipeline status, key opportunities, risks, and next actions.​
  • Maintain accurate activity logs (calls, meetings, emails, proposals) in the designated reporting system or agreed format.​
  • Provide concise market and competitor insights to support the Americas go-to-market plan.​

Targets / KPIs

  • Proposals: Minimum of 4 qualified Lead Generation / Consulting proposals submitted per month.​
  • Revenue: Year 1 – Minimum USD 100,000 new business development target (signed contracts); Year 2 – Minimum USD 200,000 overall sales target (signed contracts).​
  • Activity: Consistent outreach and follow-up activity volumes and timely reporting as agreed with the Head of Sales.​

Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales / Business Development / Inside Sales, preferably in:B2B services, consulting, or SaaS, and/orSelling to public sector / government / investment promotion agencies or EDOs.​Strong consultative selling skills: ability to diagnose client challenges and position solutions rather than push products.​Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish and/or Portuguese are an advantage given regional coverage.​Strong proposal writing, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.​Ability to work independently in a hybrid, target-driven environment and collaborate across time zones. Flexibility to adjust working hours to align with Americas time zones when required.​Good research skills and familiarity with LinkedIn, online databases, reporting tools, and MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).​Culturally sensitive and comfortable engaging with senior public sector stakeholders.​Nice-to-HaveExposure to investment promotion, economic development, FDI advisory, or public-private initiatives in the Americas.
