Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures:
Recommend improvements to policy and direct the implementation of instructions covering all areas of Human resource activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.
Standards & Regulations:
Ensure that all activities are monitored and regulatory compliance audits and inspections are conducted for the effective implementation of regulatory standards.
Health, Safety & Environment:
Monitor the adherence to all relevant safety and environmental management procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/services and a responsible environmental attitude.
Operations & Production Management:
▪ Manage all bakery production stages including mixing, fermentation, baking, cooling, packaging, and dispatch. ▪ Execute daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
▪ Coordinate activities between production, maintenance, quality, and logistics teams.
Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement:
▪ Improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
▪ Apply Lean and continuous improvement methodologies.
▪ Analyze root causes of performance gaps and implement corrective actions.
Quality & Food Safety Management:
▪ Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000 standards.
▪ Oversee in-process quality control and corrective actions.
▪ Manage customer complaints related to product quality.
Cost Control & Budget Management:
▪ Control operational costs and manage production budgets.
▪ Optimize raw material usage and labor efficiency.
▪ Support CAPEX and OPEX planning.
Equipment & Maintenance Coordination:
▪ Ensure availability and reliability of bakery equipment and ovens.
▪ Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
▪ Support commissioning of new production lines.
Supply Chain & Materials Management:
▪ Ensure uninterrupted supply of raw materials and packaging.
▪ Maintain proper storage and handling conditions.
▪ Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams.
Cost Management:
▪ Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
▪ Analyze budget variances and implement corrective actions to achieve financial targets.
New Products & Expansion Support:
▪ Support new product trials and industrialization.
▪ Ensure smooth launch of new bakery products.
▪ Participate in plant expansions and capacity upgrades.
