Our client, a well-established Oil & Gas EPC contractor with core expertise across upstream and downstream projects in Egypt and Libya, is seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to join their Head Office team in Maadi, Cairo. Role Purpose The Project Controls Manager will be responsible for establishing and overseeing project control systems, ensuring effective planning, scheduling, cost management, and performance monitoring across multiple projects to support informed decision-making and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain integrated project control systems (planning, cost, cost forecasting, and reporting). Prepare and manage detailed project schedules, baselines, and progress updates. Monitor project budgets, costs, forecasts, cash flow, and variations. Analyze schedule and cost variances and recommend corrective actions. Lead earned value management (EVM) analysis and performance reporting. Coordinate with project managers, engineering, procurement, and site teams. Prepare dashboards and executive-level progress reports for senior management. Support risk analysis, mitigation planning, and claims management when required.
Candidate Profile Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).10+ years of experience in Project Controls within construction or engineering projects. Strong hands-on experience in planning, scheduling, and cost control. Proven experience using Primavera P6 and Candy (CCS). Solid knowledge of budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and EVM. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. PMP, PMI-SP, or equivalent certification is a strong plus.
