General Ledger Accountant

  • Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights and recommendations for cost control.
  • Maintain and update general ledger accounts and supporting documentation for all journal entries.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial data is accurately captured.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare tax returns and ensure timely submission in accordance with local laws and regulations.
  • Participate in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the implementation of best accounting practices.
