Senior Planning Specialist is responsible for planning and managing raw materials and packaging materials required for paint manufacturing operations. The role ensures uninterrupted production through effective material planning, close coordination with Purchasing, and optimized inventory management, while supporting the supply chain Manager in achieving supply chain targets. 

Key Responsibilities: 
• Prepare and manage material and packaging plans based on production schedules and sales forecasts.

• Ensure availability of all raw and packaging materials to meet production requirements. 

• Coordinate with the Purchasing team to issue purchase requisitions and follow up on purchase orders. 

• Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages, excess stock, and obsolescence.

• Manage supplier lead times and highlight risks impacting production continuity. 

• Follow up on incoming materials and resolve delivery delays or quantity discrepancies. 

• Support inventory optimization initiatives and improve material turnover. 

• Maintain accurate material master data in ERP/MRP systems.

• Prepare and analyze reports related to material availability, consumption, and stock status.

• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Warehouse teams to ensure materials meet approved specifications. 

• Act as a senior team member, providing guidance and support to junior planners when required.
