Job Purpose
The National Sales Manager – Paints is responsible for leading, managing, and expanding Eagle Paints’ domestic sales operations. The role aims to achieve sustainable revenue growth, strengthen market presence, and ensure high-performance execution through strategic planning, team leadership, and strong customer relationship management. This position requires a seasoned leader with extensive experience in the paints and coatings industry to enhance competitiveness and support the company's commercial objectives.
Key Result Areas (KRAs)Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
• Develop, implement, and monitor national sales strategies aligned with company targets.
• Achieve annual revenue, profitability, and market share objectives.
• Identify growth opportunities across regions and segments.
Sales Team Leadership & Performance
• Lead, develop, and coach the nationwide sales team to ensure target achievement.
• Implement performance management and incentive systems.
• Ensure proper territory planning and customer coverage.
Market Expansion & Customer Development
• Drive expansion in existing and new regional markets.
• Strengthen relationships with key accounts, distributors, contractors, and project customers.
• Conduct regular customer visits to maintain strong engagement and identify new opportunities.
Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing changes.
• Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic commercial decisions.
• Adjust sales tactics to maintain competitiveness.
Pricing, Forecasting & Budget Management
• Oversee pricing structure to ensure both competitiveness and profitability.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts for planning and production alignment.
• Ensure adherence to sales budgets and cost control.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Coordinate closely with Production, Supply Chain, and Marketing to ensure product availability and campaign success.
• Resolve customer issues through effective collaboration with internal teams.
Performance Reporting & Continuous Improvement
• Prepare and present regular sales performance reports.
• Propose improvements to processes, policies, and market execution.
• Track KPIs and ensure corrective actions where needed
