Sales Executive

Job Purpose:

The Sales Executive is responsible for growing B2B revenue and distribution coverage by acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts across assigned territories/channels, ensuring sustainable volume growth, strong collections, and high service levels.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Achieve assigned sales targets (value/volume/mix) by executing daily call plans, route coverage, and channel-specific selling strategies.
  • Grow numeric and weighted distribution by identifying high-potential outlets, qualifying leads, opening new accounts, and ensuring correct onboarding documentation.
  • Deliver profitable deals and commercial terms by preparing quotations/proposals, negotiating within approved pricing/discount policies, and securing management approvals when required.
  • Ensure order accuracy and fulfillment success by confirming availability, lead times, and delivery requirements, and coordinating with customer service/logistics to close delivery issues quickly.
  • Maintain healthy accounts receivable by monitoring credit terms, following up on overdue payments, and coordinating with Finance to resolve disputes and protect cash flow.
  • Improve forecast and inventory planning quality by updating the pipeline, sharing customer insights, and communicating expected promotions/large orders early.
  • Strengthen customer relationships and retention by conducting regular business reviews, resolving complaints, and ensuring consistent service levels post-sale.
  • Maintain market competitiveness by monitoring competitor pricing, promotions, and new launches, and recommending actions to Sales/Marketing based on field intelligence.
  • Ensure compliance and reporting discipline by keeping CRM/pipeline accurate, submitting visit reports, and adhering to company policies (pricing, credit, ethics, and safety).
