Job Summary
We are a software development company looking for a technical Application Support Engineer to support, deploy, and troubleshoot our software solutions at client environments.
This role is technical-focused and not a call center or customer service position.
Key Responsibilities:
Deployment & Release Support
- Deploy and install software systems at client environments.
- Configure and deploy application services using Windows Server and its roles.
- Deploy and package web applications using IIS Web Server.
- Prepare, modify, and execute MSSQL database scripts during deployment.
- Support release deployment processes and provide technical deployment recommendations.
- Willingness to travel (short or long trips) outside Egypt when required.
Application & Production Support
- Investigate and resolve client technical issues within agreed SLAs.
- Troubleshoot environment-specific issues using Event Viewer and application logs.
- Identify missing application components and configuration issues.
- Investigate database-related issues using MSSQL and SQL queries.
- Review, own, and follow up on support tickets, escalating when needed.
- Reproduce reported client issues to support debugging and resolution.
Documentation & Training
- Maintain application support and technical documentation.
- Design and support application reports.
- Write administration, installation, and configuration guides.
- Train client staff on delivered systems.
