BUZJANY Construction is seeking a Site Engineer (High-End Fit-Out & Finishes) to lead the execution and delivery of premium finishing projects for retail stores, banks, administrative units, and high-end residential units.
This role is responsible for managing site activities, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring successful project delivery across scope, schedule, cost, quality, communication, and change control, applying structured project management practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead day-to-day site execution and fit-out works from mobilization to handover.
• Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, BOQs, and method statements.
• Manage site resources (manpower, tools, materials) to meet productivity and delivery targets.
• Collaborate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain smooth workflow and resolve site constraints.
• Develop and update project schedules and weekly/daily look-ahead plans; track progress against baselines.
• Monitor and control project scope, time, cost, and quality and report deviations with corrective actions.
• Conduct and document coordination meetings (internal and external), ensuring clear action plans, responsibilities, and follow-ups.
• Ensure timely communication of site issues, technical clarifications, RFIs, and decisions to minimize delays and rework.
• Support the management of change orders/variations from initiation to closure, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
• Evaluate the impact of changes on scope, schedule, cost, and quality, and support mitigation planning.
• Coordinate with the technical office/quantity surveying team to prepare change documentation (measurements, technical justification, revised drawings, updated schedules).
• Maintain a change log and ensure approved changes are reflected in project documents and site execution.
• Implement QA/QC procedures for finishing work, including mockups, inspections, and material compliance checks.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants/clients and ensure timely closure of site instructions.
• Review and coordinate shop drawings, details, and material submittals with consultants and clients.
• Ensure accurate site documentation (IRs, MIRs, RFIs, as-builts, handover documents).
• Support procurement by validating technical compliance and coordinating material approvals and deliveries.
