Key Responsibilities:

  1. Network Design and Implementation:
    • Design, configure, and maintain enterprise networks, including LAN, WAN, and cloud-based solutions.
    • Develop and implement network architecture for scalability and redundancy.
    • Integrate emerging technologies and optimize network performance.
  2. Firewall and Security Systems Management:
    • Configure and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), VPNs, and other security appliances.
    • Ensure appropriate access controls and network segmentation.
  3. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate documentation for network configurations, changes, and incidents.
    • Prepare reports for management on system health, security posture, and incidents.
  4. Monitoring and Maintenance:
    • Monitor network and security systems using tools like PRTG.
    • Check for alerts, investigate anomalies, and resolve issues proactively.
    • Perform routine system and software updates (e.g., firmware upgrades, patch management).
