Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll Management
Oversee preparation, processing, and distribution of payroll for all employees.
Ensure accurate computation of salaries, overtime, bonuses, allowances, and deductions.
Review and approve payroll reports before final submission and payment.
Ensure timely remittance of taxes, social security, and other statutory contributions.
Compliance & Controls
Ensure payroll practices comply with labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
Monitor updates in payroll-related laws and recommend necessary system or policy changes.
Handle audits related to payroll and provide required documentation.
Team Leadership
Supervise, train, and evaluate payroll staff.
Assign tasks, set deadlines, and ensure workload efficiency within the payroll team.
Provide guidance on complex payroll issues and employee inquiries.
Systems & Records Management
Maintain and improve payroll systems and databases.
Ensure payroll records, employee files, and reports are accurate, confidential, and properly archived.
Coordinate with IT or vendors for payroll system enhancements or troubleshooting.
Coordination & Reporting
Work closely with HR, Finance, and Accounting departments to ensure data accuracy.
Prepare payroll-related reports for management, budgeting, and forecasting.
Address employee payroll concerns and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
6-10 years of payroll experience, with at least 4 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of payroll laws, taxation, and statutory benefits.
Experience with payroll software and HRIS systems.
High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity.
