Job Summary:

We are seeking a junior corporate lawyer to support our legal and business operations across licensing, publishing, society relationships, and IP strategy. The ideal candidate will have a solid legal foundation with strong business negotiation skills and experience in rights management, with a focus on practical, day-to-day implementation—not litigation.

Main Job Duties:

• Draft and review commercial agreements (licensing, publishing, sync, distribution, service, JV, etc.)
• Negotiate deal terms in alignment with company strategy and artist rights
• Coordinate with collecting societies (PRS, SACEM, ASCAP, etc.) for registration, rights claims, and royalty matters
• Research copyright and publishing chains of title to support acquisition and revenue recovery
• Review and summarize regulatory and contractual requirements for content monetization
• Assist in on-boarding new catalogs or works with proper IP documentation
• Work cross-functionally with A&R, finance, content, and digital teams to align business/legal activities
• Track rights disputes, claims, and resolutions, keeping clear documentation
• Maintain internal contract database and schedules
• Stay updated on regional IP laws, publishing norms, and industry changes
