- Identify, evaluate, and select qualified international suppliers for spare parts and technical components.
- Request, review, and analyze quotations to ensure the best commercial and technical offers.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and warranty conditions with foreign suppliers.
- Issue purchase orders (POs) and ensure proper documentation for international shipping and customs clearance.
- Monitor order status and coordinate with logistics, customs Clerance, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on new suppliers, global price trends, and technological developments related to spare parts.
- Ensure purchased Spare parts meet the required technical specifications and quality standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international vendors and service providers.
- Evaluate supplier performance periodically and recommend improvements or replacements when needed.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier communications.
- Coordinate with the engineering, planning, and maintenance departments to understand technical requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, budget limits, and ISO standards.
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.3–5 years of experience in international procurement, preferably in spare parts or technical materials.Excellent in English (written and spoken).Strong knowledge of import procedures, INCOTERMS, shipping documents, and international logistics.Excellent negotiation and communication skills.Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (Oracle or similar).Strong analytical and decision-making skills.Ability to manage multiple procurement requests simultaneously.
