Role Purpose
Lead, manage, and enhance retail operations across all SPACVIA stores to ensure efficiency, profitability, and a strong brand experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Store Operations Management
- Supervise daily operations for all branches, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to procedures.
- Develop, implement, and maintain store SOPs.
- Monitor operational KPIs (sales, conversion rate, UPT, ATV, footfall, returns).
- Conduct regular store visits and performance audits.
2. Inventory & Stock Control
- Ensure accurate stock levels through structured stock-handling processes.
- Coordinate with warehouse and stock teams to minimize discrepancies, mismatches, and shrinkage.
- Oversee stock transfers, replenishment cycles, and aging stock management.
- Lead annual and periodic stock counts, analyze results, and apply corrective actions.
3. Team Leadership & Development
- Manage Store Managers and guide sales teams towards achieving targets.
- Provide coaching and continuous development for operational and sales skills.
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
- Build a culture of accountability, service excellence, and teamwork.
4. Sales Performance & Customer Experience
- Track store performance daily/weekly/monthly.
- Develop action plans to improve store results and meet sales targets.
- Ensure high customer service standards and resolve escalations when required.
- Implement promotions and campaigns in alignment with marketing.
5. Visual Merchandising (VM)
- Ensure correct execution of visual guidelines across all branches.
- Coordinate with the VM team for seasonal layouts and new collection arrivals.
- Maintain store presentation standards, signage, and product displays.
6. Operational Excellence & Process Improvement
- Identify operational gaps and execute improvements to enhance productivity.
- Streamline staff scheduling and resource allocation.
- Implement loss-prevention measures to reduce shrinkage.
- Standardize reporting, store checklists, and operational workflows.
7. Cross-Department Coordination
- Collaborate with HR, Warehouse, Finance, Buying, and Marketing teams.
- Provide feedback on customer behavior, fast/slow-moving items, and operational needs.
- Ensure smooth communication between stores and head office.
