- Prepare technical and financial comparisons of subcontractors and suppliers, analyze prices, and select categories to be included in the tender.
- Review tender documents before sending them to the selected subcontractors and suppliers.
- Cover all Supply Chain functions, including procurement, subcontracts, expediting, quality control/inspection, materials management, and logistics.
- Liaise with other project functions, including engineering, to ensure all project components are resolved and meet the required on-site dates.
- Apply value engineering concepts where possible to all required materials.
- Negotiate with subcontractors at multiple stages, with the support of the procurement manager, to meet project schedules and target prices, achieving savings in accordance with the project’s budget.
- Follow up with Finance on the approval of subcontractors’ financial documents to ensure they are up-to-date.
Sign subcontracts and addenda with subcontractors to circulate the finalized subcontract documents.
