The applicant must have experience in procurement within the MEP and Steel fabrication field.

Team management: Supervise and train the purchasing team, delegate tasks, and monitor performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).
Supplier management:
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
- Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms with suppliers.
- Resolve issues with suppliers regarding materials, quality, or invoicing.
Procurement process:
- Manage and process purchase orders for materials, parts, and equipment.
- Ensure the timely delivery of materials to meet project timelines.
- Coordinate with project managers and site staff to understand and fulfill procurement needs.
- Participate in bidding, evaluation, and award processes for complex purchases.
Compliance and quality:
- Ensure all materials comply with project specifications, construction codes, and safety standards.
- Verify that purchasing activities adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Administration and reporting:
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, files, and reports.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouses.
- Review and approve bills for payment, and handle invoice disputes.
