Job Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Cost Controller Accountant to support our finance team in monitoring, reviewing, and optimizing company expenses. The role involves in-depth analysis of all cost lines across departments, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending actionable insights to enhance profitability.

The ideal candidate will combine strong financial analysis skills with a business mindset to ensure every cost is justified, optimized, and aligned with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Review all expense lines on a monthly basis and prepare detailed variance analyses versus budget and prior periods.
• Identify cost inefficiencies and propose optimization initiatives to management.
• Work closely with department heads to understand cost drivers and validate expense justifications.
• Develop and maintain cost tracking models to ensure accuracy and transparency in reporting.
• Support the Head of Finance and CFO with reports highlighting trends, cost-saving opportunities, and risk areas.
• Assist in the preparation of the monthly and quarterly management reports.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, budgets, and cost-control procedures.
• Participate in forecasting and budgeting exercises, providing input based on expense trends and analysis.
• Track approved cost optimization initiatives and measure realized savings.
