- Job Description :
- The Mechanical Section Head will be responsible for overseeing mechanical maintenance operations, leading a team of technicians, and ensuring maximum equipment reliability and availability.
- Key Responsibilities :
- Lead, mentor, and manage the mechanical maintenance team.
- Oversee maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of shredders, conveyors, rotating equipment, and heavy-duty mechanical systems.
- Approve and monitor maintenance tasks and ensure timely completion.
- Manage inspections of bearings, gearboxes, pulleys, belts, shafts, and lubrication systems.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans.
- Conduct root cause analysis for mechanical failures and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with electrical, production, and HSE departments to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Manage spare parts inventory and plan maintenance resources.
- Ensure all mechanical activities comply with safety standards and plant procedures.
- Maintain accurate records, maintenance logs, and KPIs related to mechanical performance.
- Provide technical insights to management and support budget preparation.
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. 7–10 years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience, including supervisory experience. Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, heavy-duty machinery, alignment techniques, and failure analysis. Experience with shredders, conveyors, and industrial mechanical systems. Strong leadership and communication skills. Maximum age: 45 years preferred.PreferredExperience in waste processing, industrial fuel, or energy production industries operations.Preferably residing in Helwan or within the Greater Cairo area Location: Arab Abu Saad, Giza, Egypt
